Opportunity Bank of Montana Launches Little Lobby Library in Ashland
July 24, 2026
Opportunity Bank of Montana is inviting young readers and
families to discover new stories through its new Little Lobby Library, a free
book-sharing program now available at the bank’s Ashland branch.
The Little Lobby Library holds a variety of books for young
readers. Readers may choose to keep their book, return it when they are
finished, or share it with a friend so others can enjoy it as well. The program
is designed to make books more accessible while fostering literacy.
“We are excited to offer the Little Lobby Library as a
resource for our local children and families and another way to serve our
community,” said Opportunity Bank Ashland Branch Manager Tammy Olson.
The Ashland Little Lobby Library is open during branch lobby
hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Families are welcome to
visit the branch and browse the collection. To help ensure as many children as
possible can enjoy the library, we encourage taking one book per child per
visit. The library is open to everyone during regular lobby hours, with no
purchase or bank account required.
“Reading opens doors to learning, imagination and
opportunity,” said Karlie Mills, Opportunity Bank Commercial & Ag Loan
Officer. “We hope this resource helps connect children with books they enjoy
and inspires a love of reading.”
Community members who would like to support the program may
donate new or gently used books appropriate for young readers ages 0-15.
Donations can be dropped off at the Ashland branch, located at 300 Main Street
during normal business hours.
This project reflects Opportunity Bank of Montana’s ongoing
commitment to supporting the communities we serve by creating opportunities
that extend beyond traditional banking services.
