We are pleased to provide you with a summary of some of the benefits eligible employees may receive at Opportunity Bank of Montana. This package includes much more than the wages received in your paycheck, from health and wellness programs to financial wellness, retirement, and time off, our benefits are designed to help you balance work and life. Additional benefits may include the following:
Financial Wellness
Retirement Plan and Profit-Sharing
Eligible employees may contribute to a pre-tax 401(k) and/or after-tax Roth 401(k) plan. Employees are eligible for an employer match up to 2% of employee’s eligible compensation immediately, and there is no vesting schedule for the Bank’s matching contribution! Eligible employees also receive a discretionary profit-sharing contribution from the Bank. The past few years, discretionary profit-sharing contributions have ranged from 3%-5% of eligible compensation for a combined employer 401(k) contribution of 5%-7%!

Employee Stock Ownership Plan
Eligible employees may receive shares of Eagle Bancorp stock on the first calendar quarter after completing one year of service. These shares are in addition to the 401(k) plan.

Work/Life Harmony
Paid Time-Off (PTO) and Cash Out Program
Depending on years of service and status, employees can accrue up to 30 days of PTO each year, in addition to paid time off for up to 11 declared holidays. Unlike many employers, here at Opportunity Bank there’s no waiting period to use PTO. Employees may carry over up to twice their annual PTO accrual into the following calendar year. Additionally, in December of each year, the PTO Cash Out Program allows eligible employees the option to elect to cash out a portion of their PTO earned.

Holidays
Employees receive paid time off for up to eleven declared holidays.

Shift Premiums and Credits
Eligible employees earn time and a half wages for Saturday hours worked. Eligible employees in the Retail department may also earn up to 2 hours of flexible shift credit at their regular pay rate per week providing flexibility while still being paid for a full 40-hour week.

Paid Parental Leave
To assist and support new parents with balancing work and family matters, the Bank provides eligible employees an additional 2-week period of paid parental leave for the care and well-being of their newborn or adopted child. This leave can be paired or layered with other types of leave.

Paid Volunteer Leave
In support of your community involvement, the Bank offers all employees 12 hours of paid Individual Volunteer Leave per calendar year to devote to volunteer efforts for community clubs and non-profit groups.

For Your Health
Health Plans
Opportunity Bank contributes the entire monthly health insurance premium for all employees working 20 or more hours per week - a benefit worth more than an additional $4/hour in wages. Eligible family members may also enroll in the group plan, and the Bank contributes more than half of the monthly premium for family members. Prescription and vision coverage are included at no additional cost, as well as a variety of additional healthcare resources.

Dental Plans
Opportunity Bank contributes the entire monthly premium for basic dental coverage for all employees working 20 or more hours per week. An enhanced plan is also available for an additional charge, and family members may also enroll in dental coverage. Two annual cleanings are covered at 100% on both plans.

Biometric Screening Incentive
Employees who participate in our annual on-site biometric screening will receive a discretionary employer contribution of $80 per month to their health savings account (or taxable equivalent added to paycheck if ineligible for the HSA). Employees who choose to contribute at least $10 per month to their own HSA will receive an additional discretionary “Super Match” contribution of $20 per month. That’s an additional $100 per month from Opportunity Bank towards qualified medical expenses! Additionally, these screenings can save you money on lab tests and provide a comprehensive tool to help evaluate your health markers and review possible health risks.

Life Insurance and AD&D Benefit
Opportunity Bank provides all eligible full-time employees with a Life and AD&D policy worth 1.5 times your annual earnings up to a maximum benefit of $200,000. This benefit is 100% employer paid. Eligible employees may also purchase additional coverage.

Flexible Spending Account
Flexible spending accounts allow eligible employees to pay for health care expenses and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Childcare Assistance Program
The bank will contribute $100 per month (up to $1,200 per year) to a Dependent Care Flex account for employees.

Investing in Your Future
Education Assistance Program
The Bank’s Education Assistance Program reimburses eligible employees up to $5,250 per calendar year for approved tuition expenses.
