With CashFlow Central, you can use a credit card to pay
bills and invoices
- Extended cash flow – Defer payments and hold onto your cash longer
- Potential rewards – Earn points, miles, or cashback, depending on your card
Note: Credit card bill payments are offered by
Fiserv Solutions, LLC, as a bill payment service provider (BPSP). Each
card-funded payment incurs a 2.99% card-funded BPSP Bill Payment Fee and
outlined in the Review and Schedule page when making a payment.
With CashFlow Central, you can use a business
credit card to pay bills and invoices. You can conveniently add a credit card
when adding funding methods to your account or when scheduling a payment to
vendors that accept credit cards.
Adding a credit card
To pay with a card, you need to first add it as a funding
method to your account:
- Go to Settings
- Go to Funding Methods
- Click Add Card
- Add your card details and click Save and continue
- Fill in your name and address and click Save card & assign users to choose who can use this card. To save this card and assign users later, click Save card & close.
Your card is added and ready to use for payments.
Scheduling payments by card
To schedule payments by card, you need to go to the Vendor
and select pay:
- Go to How you Pay
- Go to Credit Card
- Click Add Card
- Add your card details
- Add card and card holder details click Save.
- Your card is now added and ready to use for payments.
The supported credit card types are:
- Visa – consumer and commercial
- Mastercard – commercial only
Note: Debit cards and prepaid cards are
currently not a supported Funding Method.
Users can add, edit and delete vendors, billers, and
suppliers that they want to pay.
To add a vendor to your list, select the +Add Vendor on the
vendor’s screen
- Enter vendor name and click Enter
- Select the vendor from the list
- Enter the vendor account number
- Confirm the vendor account number
- Enter the vendor ZIP code
- Select Save and close
If an add vendor or supplier match is not successful, the
user is presented with the option to enter the vendor’s information
- Enter vendor name and click Enter
- The system will indicate: No results were found
- Select Add new vendor
- Enter vendor account number
- Confirm vendor account number
- Enter vendor phone number
- Enter vendor email address – optional
- Enter vendors complete mailing address – city, state, ZIP
- Select Save and close
You can use the Pay tab to quickly schedule a payment to a
vendor:
- Go to Vendors
- Click Pay
- Select Vendor
- Add dollar amount
- Select Funding Method
- Select Delivery Date from the Calendar
- Click Confirm and pay
Note: When you schedule a check payment, there
are two important dates to understand:
Debit
on
- This is the date when funds are withdrawn from your account. This is also the date on which we will issue and mail the check to your vendor.
- Funds are always debited 5 business days prior to the “Estimated deliver by” date. By changing the “Estimated deliver by” date, you can choose when the funds are debited, avoiding surprises from unpredictable vendor deposits.
- The estimated delivery date indicates when your vendor can expect to receive this payment; the actual delivery date may vary.
Yes.
When paying a vendor for the first time, choose their
preferred delivery method, Bank Transfer (ACH) or Paper
Check. If you select Bank Transfer (ACH), you will need to
enter the vendor’s routing and account numbers. If you’ve already provided
these details, when adding the vendor to your list, they are pre-filled, and
you will just need to confirm them.
Note: For verified vendors in our network, their
preferred payment method is automatically set. They receive payments via ACH or
Paper Check, based on their preference, without you needing to manage the
details.
Yes, with CashFlow Central, you can select your preferred
funding method. Vendors can choose their preferred way to receive payments.
With CashFlow Central, the payment process is
simple, and flexible, consisting of two key steps:
- Select Your Funding Method – Pay using a credit card or bank account
- Vendors Receive Payments Their Way – Funds are delivered via their preferred method: Bank ACH transfer or paper check, ensuring a smooth experience for both parties

CashFlow Central processes your payments and delivers them
to your vendors. If your vendor prefers paper checks, we'll send them for free
on your behalf. Paper checks are sent via USPS, and delivery to the vendor takes
approximately 5-7 business days.
We offer you secure check protection. This gives you more
control and security for paper checks that are delivered through the mail. With check protection, you can enjoy the following benefits:
- Allowing
you better cash flow control
You can choose when funds are debited, avoiding surprises from unpredictable vendor deposits. - Keeping
your bank details secure
Your bank details are never visible on paper checks. This helps protect you from check forgery and fraud. - End-to-end
handling
With our secure check protection, you have complete control over when funds are withdrawn. By preventing unexpected deposits, we ensure your checks are protected from bounce risks, and you can easily void a check before it's deposited.
Paper checks are sent via USPS, and delivery to the vendor
takes approximately 5-7 business days. The estimated delivery date on the
payment is the estimated date your vendor should receive the payment.
Please note, that most checks are deposited up to 1 week after being received by your vendor. If the check hasn't been deposited, we recommend you reach out to your vendor.
If they haven't received the check, call 888-750-2265 to stop and reissue the check or to simply get a refund directly to your account.
Xero, NetSuite, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online
Easily connect your accounting software to sync bills,
payments, and vendors, saving time and eliminating double data entry. Once
connected, 2-way sync happens automatically.
For example, bills added in Xero, NetSuite,
QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online will automatically appear in
your Bills tab in CashFlow Central, allowing you to quickly pay
them. Likewise, when you schedule a payment in CashFlow Central,
the payment details sync instantly with accounting software sync provider,
keeping your records up to date without requiring manual input.
To connect to your accounting software:
- Go to Settings
- Select Sync and import
- Under Sync Accounting Software, select your provider
- Click Connect on the provider.
Instead of manually entering bill details or uploading
invoices, you can streamline the process by having them sent directly to your
CashFlow Central account.
Use your unique invoice-to-email address to receive
invoices, either by forwarding them yourself or by sharing the email with your
vendors. Any attached invoices are automatically added to your account as new
bills in your Bills tab ready for review and payment.
How it works:
- Find your unique invoice email address in Settings or the Bills tab
- Share your CashFlow Central email address with vendors so they can send invoices directly, or forward invoices to your CashFlow Central email. Our advanced AI will automatically scan your invoice and create a bill for payment
- Review the bill and verify that the details are correct
- Pay the bill by scheduling a payment
Note: Newly created invoices that require your
review will appear as a new task under the Notification section.
Yes, your eBills subscription continues as usual according
to the billing cycle of each vendor. New eBills automatically appear in your
Bills tab. Those set up with autopay are scheduled for automatic payment.
You can also subscribe to receive additional eBills from
billers that offer this service. An indication of the service appears next to
the name of the biller that offers it.
Note: You can also choose to cancel your eBill
subscriptions to any of your vendors at any time.
Recurring payments enable a user to set up vendors to
receive payments on a recurring basis. Users can specify the amount to be paid,
frequency, and duration for the recurring payment series. All your payments,
including recurring payments, appear in the Activity tab.
A recurring payment is marked with an icon and indication of
the recurring interval: Weekly
You can also find your recurring payments by reviewing the
vendor details from your Vendors tab.
How to create recurring payments:
- Next to the relevant vendor, click Pay
- Add the dollar amount
- Select the Funding Method
- Select the Payment Frequency - Recurring
- Select Frequency
- Select Delivery Date for the first recurring payment.
- Select the duration of the number of recurring payments.
- Click Confirm and Pay
How to find and review recurring payment details:
- Next to the relevant vendor, click the more actions menu (three dots)
- Select View vendor from the list of options
- In vendor details, scroll down to the Recurring payments section to review the recurring payment details
Yes, you may have multiple bills waiting to be paid and you
also may want to make a payment without a bill. With CashFlow Central, you can
schedule payments for all of them in one go.
How to batch schedule multiple payments:
- Go to the Vendors tab
- Check the box next to the vendors you want to pay. At the bottom of the page, you can see the total amount and number of vendors you are paying. Tip: If you have multiple bills from the same vendor, you can pay them individually or as one combined payment. To do so, toggle on Combine payments. Tip: To schedule a payment without an associated bill, check the box next to the vendor’s name and add the amount you want to pay in the relevant cell under the Total amount column.
- Click Review and pay to continue. You will see the selected payments listed and you can review their details and modify them as needed.
- Once all your payments are ready to go, the total amount to be paid appears on the top right of the screen.
- Click Confirm and pay to continue.
Your payments are now scheduled. Note that there is an
individual summary for each payment.
You can use CashFlow Central to pay a wide range of
business-related expenses, including utility bills, vendor invoices, contractor
payments, and even rent.
Level 3 payments limits are managed by the Level 1 user. To
set up thresholds, the Level 1 user accesses Users and roles.
- Select the Level 3 user
- Under Funding method access, select the accounts that the Level 3 user will have access to make payments with and select the funding account
- If the Level 3 user can have access to all available funding accounts, select Full access
- Enter the dollar amount in the Payment approval limit. Any payments made by Level 3 that exceed that dollar amount will require approval from Levels 1 or 2
A payment set up by a Level 3 that exceeds the Payment
approval limit must be approved by Levels 1 or 2. The Approvals tab
will be flagged with an indicator that an approval is pending.
- Levels 1 or 2 select View payment
- Payment and bills page displays the payment details
- Levels 1 or 2 review the information for accuracy
- Levels 1 or 2 select Approve
Note: If the payment is not approved by Levels 1
or 2 by the date displayed in the Payment and bill details page, a new payment
date must be selected.
The
supported formats for bill upload are:
- PNG
- JPG
- JPEG
Entitlements can be changed within the businesses' digital banking experience or by contacting the bank at
888-750-2265.
No. The SMB must use a business DDA or MMA account for
monthly billing purposes for CashFlow Central.
Monthly billing for CashFlow Central packages will occur on the third
business day of the month.
