Bank of Montana has announced a planned leadership transition designed to
support the bank’s continued growth while maintaining the local
decision-making, personal service, and long-term commitment to Montana
communities customers have come to expect.
Effective June 1, 2026, Darryl Rensmon was appointed President of Opportunity Bank of Montana and Eagle Bancorp Montana, Inc., the bank’s holding company. Laura Clark will continue serving as Chief Executive Officer of both Opportunity Bank of Montana and Eagle Bancorp Montana, Inc.
This transition reflects a thoughtful succession planning process and demonstrates the organization’s commitment to leadership continuity, long-term stability, and sustained growth. The change positions the organization for the future while maintaining the experienced leadership team that has guided the bank’s success.

As President, Rensmon will
lead the continued execution of the bank’s mission, strategy, and day-to-day
operations. During his tenure as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information
Officer, he played a key role in the bank’s growth, operational excellence, and
strategic investments.
