Volunteer Spotlight: Easton Copenhaver Strengthens Community Through Service
February 5, 2026
Opportunity Bank of Montana is proud to feature Easton
Copenhaver, Branch President of our Wolf Point location, whose lifelong roots
in the community have shaped his deep commitment to service. Easton embodies
what it means to show up for your hometown, dedicating his time, leadership,
and passion.
“It is an honor to serve the community that shaped me,” he
said. “I am invested in helping make Wolf Point a thriving place for future
generations.”
That desire to invest in the next generation is reflected in the many ways Easton gives back throughout the year. He volunteers his time with several organizations that support youth athletics, local businesses, and long-standing community events. He serves as Board President of the Airport Golf Club, President of the Northeast Montana Officials Association, and Director for the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce. Through these roles, he works to promote community engagement, and help ensure that important events and programs continue for years to come.
“It’s important to me to ensure kids today have the same
opportunities that I had growing up,” he said, emphasizing the role local
volunteers played in shaping his own childhood experiences.
Outside these leadership positions, Easton stays actively
involved in on-the-ground volunteer efforts. He organizes an annual community
golf tournament at the Airport Golf Club, sponsored by Opportunity Bank, helps
feed rodeo contestants during Stampede, volunteers at Wolf Point High School
during volleyball and basketball tournaments, and joins the bank team in
serving s’mores at the community Christmas Stroll.
He encourages others to think back to what they enjoyed
growing up, as a way to start giving back in their own areas. He suggests
simply approaching someone who is already volunteering at that event and asking
how to help. In his words, “We need the next generation to step up and keep
events going.”
