We’re celebrating
Brie Mattick, Branch Manager of our Bozeman Oak location, on her upcoming graduation
from Leadership
Bozeman on May 14, a program presented by the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce
designed to cultivate informed, connected, and engaged leaders
across the local
community.
For Brie, Leadership Bozeman is far more than a professional
development opportunity, it is a meaningful way to deepen her connection to
Bozeman while continuing to grow as a leader.
“Immersing myself in the community is a priority for me,”
Brie shared. “I believe strong communities are built through connection,
service, and leadership, and I’m passionate about learning more about the
leaders who make a lasting impact.”
Throughout the program, Brie has gained an even deeper
understanding of the Bozeman community through hands-on experiences. From
touring local landmarks like museums, the airport, and even the cemetery, to
participating in each session’s Leadership Spotlight, every experience brought
a new perspective on leadership and community impact.
Brie also highlighted the opportunity to hear from Cary
Jack, author of The Happy Hustle, whose message around avoiding burnout
and achieving balance resonated deeply.
“His message about achieving a blissful balance in life
really stuck with me,” Brie said. “It was a great reminder that strong
leadership starts with taking care of yourself as well.”
Through the program, Brie says she’s gained a new
appreciation for the uniqueness of Bozeman. She learned about photonic
computers and their impact on agriculture, discovered how the airport’s baggage
system can detect explosives used for avalanche mitigation on ski equipment,
and explored fascinating pieces of local history—such as underground tunnels
connecting the jail to the courthouse.
And one final recommendation from Brie?
“If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend visiting The Ellen
Theatre and meeting the owners—the history of that building is fascinating,”
she says.
Please join us in congratulating Brie on her upcoming graduation.
We’re grateful for the impact she makes every day at our Bozeman Oak location.
