Supporting the Special Olympics Montana State Basketball Tournament
Jessica Jones, Laurie Frost, and John Simkins from our Helena branches volunteered at the Special Olympics Montana State Basketball Tournament, helping support the event for athletes and the community. As a statewide sponsor of Special Olympics Montana, we value for opportunities like this that bring athletes, families, and volunteers together for a weekend of competition and camaraderie—creating meaningful connections across our state.


Opportunity Bank of Montana recently presented a $500 Spark Grant at Helena High School to support student creativity!
President and CEO Laura Clark and Chief Operating Officer Darryl Rensmon, joined Principal Brian Kessler, and Helena Education Foundation Executive Director Becca Leaphart to present the grant to HHS teacher Mr. Scruggs through the HEF's Spark Grant program. The grant will fund a new portable sound board, perfect for talent shows, open mic lunches, and events beyond the classroom.

The Helena Family YMCA John Morrison Memorial Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course - it helps fund youth programs and support families in Helena. We were a sponsor of the event, and our team enjoyed hitting the course while supporting an important cause.

At the end of June, members of our Loan Servicing team in Helena rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at Helena Food Share. They helped with landscaping and had the opportunity to tour the organization’s new facility. We’re proud to support the impactful work being done in our communities!

Our Helena team brought their creativity to life at the Rotary Club of Helena's first-ever SponCon! Volunteers had seven hours to build their creations using materials from the Helena Habitat Restore. We were a proud sponsor of this year's event!

Volunteer Instructors Bring Financial Literacy to Helena Students
Volunteer instructors from Opportunity Bank visited Helena Middle School and C.R. Anderson Middle School in February for two Helena-area financial literacy courses, providing them with hands-on experience. Students explored topics like setting a budget, making a spending plan, and figuring out how to prepare for unexpected expenses without giving up their fun goals.
